Privacy Policy
Effective October 18, 2026
LDT Advisors LLC (“LDT,” “we,” “us”) is a technology consulting firm based in New Jersey. This policy explains what we collect when you use ldtadvisors.com or work with us, and how we handle it. The short version: we use your information to talk with you and to help your business, we keep it confidential, and we never sell it.
What we collect
- What you send us. When you request an evaluation or contact us: your name, company, work email, phone number, team size and anything you choose to write.
- Software Finder. If you use our Software Finder, we keep your first name, email and the answers you give, such as your type of business, team size and what's slowing you down, so our team can follow up. You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time.
- Calls and meetings. If you call us or meet with us on Google Meet, we may use AI note-taking from Google to capture notes so we can focus on you. We'll tell you at the start of the call, and you can ask us not to. Voicemails left on our business line are transcribed by Google Voice.
- Chats with our website assistant. Our website has an AI assistant, Atara, that tells you up front it is an AI. If you use it, we keep the conversation and anything you choose to share, such as your name, company, work email and phone number.
- Text messages. If you text our business line, or agree to texts on our evaluation form, we keep your mobile number and the messages. Texts are answered by Atara, our AI assistant, who tells you she is an AI. See Text messages below.
- What you share during an engagement. Information about how your business runs, the systems you use and your goals, shared during our evaluation and any work that follows.
- Basic technical data. Like most websites, our hosting provider and the services that deliver our fonts may log standard information such as your IP address and browser type. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies. Our website assistant uses a coded form of your IP address only to limit abuse; it is not used to identify you.
How we use it
- To respond to you and schedule your evaluation, including through our website assistant and by text message if you've agreed to texts or texted us first.
- To prepare for and deliver our evaluation, proposal and services.
- To send you information you've asked for. You can opt out of any non-essential email at any time.
Insights we gain about how businesses in an industry generally operate may help us improve our services and the tools we recommend or build. When we use them that way, they're stripped of anything that identifies you, your company, your customers or your people.
What we don't do
- We don't sell or rent your information.
- We don't ask for, and you shouldn't send us through this website, customer personal information such as account numbers, Social Security numbers, health or student records. If account, card or Social Security numbers are typed into our website assistant, we remove them before anything is stored.
- We don't share your information with other clients.
Text messages
LDT Advisors sends text messages only to people who text our business line first or who check the box agreeing to texts on our evaluation form. We text about your request: answering your questions, scheduling and confirming your evaluation, and following up on it. We don't send marketing texts.
- Who answers. Atara, our AI assistant, answers texts and tells you she is an AI. Our team can see the conversation and step in.
- How often. Message frequency varies with your conversation. Message and data rates may apply.
- Stopping. Reply STOP at any time to stop all texts from us; we'll confirm once and then stop. Reply HELP for help, or contact [email protected] or (201) 500-7919.
- Not required. Agreeing to texts is not a condition of booking an evaluation or working with us.
- Keep it general. Text messages aren't encrypted. Please don't text account numbers, Social Security numbers or other sensitive details.
- Carriers. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except the service providers that deliver our messages on our behalf (such as Twilio).
Confidentiality and NDAs
We treat everything you share as confidential. Before we see sensitive information about your business or get access to your systems, we sign a mutual non-disclosure agreement with you. That agreement governs confidential business information shared during an engagement.
Who processes your information
We use trusted service providers to run our business, such as Google Workspace (email, calendar, documents and forms), Cloudflare (website hosting), Cal.com (scheduling, when you book a time with us), Twilio (text messages and calls on our business line), Anthropic (the AI model behind our assistant) and Vultr (the server that runs our assistant). They process information on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments. We may also disclose information if required by law.
How long we keep it
We keep contact and evaluation information for as long as needed to work with you and for our normal business records, then delete it. Website chat conversations and text messages that don't lead to a request are deleted after 90 days. You can ask us to delete your information at any time, unless we're required to keep it.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we have about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or opt out of email from us. Email [email protected] and we'll respond promptly.
Security
We use reputable providers, two-step sign-in and limited access to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you share.
Changes
If we update this policy, we'll change the effective date above.
